In this workshop the participants will be introduced to the practice of radio art. The participants will have various examples highlighting the artistic use of radio will be presented: studio productions, live radio performances, installations and interventions in public space. Together with the participants a set of tools for the production of audio material will be investigated, from techniques to create unusual sounds to the use of the smartphone as a mobile recorder.

Digital Photo Documentation of Museum
This workshop explains how to digitally photograph museum objects to meet conservation and documentation requirements. It includes information on how to choose proper photographic equipment, the various types of digital cameras and how they function, different light sources and their influence on colour, assorted lighting techniques and setting up a digital workflow. The importance of combining all these elements in an appropriate manner to consistently produce accurate images is also discussed.
